You can easily submit your insurance claim by emailing us at info@goldleafinsurance.ca. Be sure to have your policy details and basic incident information ready for a smooth process.

Auto Insurance Claims

What You Need to File a Claim


For a smooth claims process, have the following information and documents ready:

  • Your policy number
  • Date and time of the incident
  • A detailed description of the incident, including any applicable personal belongings that were stolen, property damage, damaged items, water damage, injuries, police report, parties involved, and any other additional information pertaining to your claim.
  • Any third-party details (if applicable)
  • License plate number (if applicable)
  • Any relevant photographs of the damage

Depending on your claim, you may need additional supporting documents, such as receipts, photos of damaged areas, or even videos. We'll guide you through the process and tell you exactly what's required as we work together.

Process After Filing a Claim


  • Claim Acknowledgment: After filing your claim, you'll receive a confirmation of receipt so that you are aware your claim is being processed and is in good hands.
  • Assessment: One of our claims adjusters will review your claim details and may arrange a site visit if needed to assess the damage or gather more information.
  • Resolution: Once the assessment is complete, we'll work towards resolving your claim. Your claims representative will let you know how to proceed with cleaning up, repairing and replacing your damaged property. Timelines may vary, but you can expect regular updates throughout the process, ensuring transparency and support every step of the way.
